In a revolutionary change from traditional cans, Heinz recently launched their microwaveable 'Snap Pot' pack style for their baked beans and spaghetti hoops.
The new concept was designed to accommodate today's busy lifestyle, where convenience and minimal preparation is paramount.
In order to wrap a printed carton board sleeve around the plastic 4-pot pack, Heinz chose Kliklok Woodman to supply our Certiwrap ® C150 sleever.
We customised our wraparound cartoner with Heinz's mechanical & electrical specification, plus a barcode scanning unit, to provide Heinz with an efficient 150 sleeves per minute line.
The C150 not only gives Heinz the benefit of easy size-change and low maintenance, the unique open design provides high visibility and accessibility. In addition, an electronic carton control mechanism with intelligent product sensing ensures reliable final carton appearance and minimum carton waste.
The attractive design and shape of the sleeve, using the familiar Heinz logo and graphics, enables instant recognition of the product, and the shelf-ready style allows easy consumer viewing in the supermarket.
