New Kliklok Trolley Loader for Dairy Crest

June 07, 2007

Kliklok Woodman has recently supplied a new TL8 milk trolley loading machine for Dairy Crest Limited at its plant in Dagenham, to add to their existing Kliklok TL equipment.  With excellent teamwork from the Dairy Crest & Kliklok project groups, the installation programme ran smoothly and the machine is now in full production.

The newly designed TL8 is a duplex version of Kliklok's well-proven TL5 machine, designed to collate polythene milk bottles or cartons and load them automatically into shelved trolleys.

The difference is that there are two completely independent trolley-handling stations, with no side transfer of the trolleys. The 2 halves of the machine are independent, and one can operate with the other isolated.

The improvements have resulted in much better control of each trolley and more tolerance when handling poor trolleys.

According to Kliklok, the new TL8 is the fastest trolley loader on the market and can run at up to 320 bottles per minute on 2 litre bottles.

All main movements are now servo controlled, using the latest Siemens 'Simotion' package. This gives greater control, better reliability, more repeatable movements & greater efficiency.
