"Evolution" in Bagmaking Technology Revealed
September 13, 2005
Las Vegas, NV - The world debut of Kliklok Woodman'sŪ new, ultra-high speed Evolution bagmaker is taking place at the Pack Expo West show in Las Vegas, booth C-2300. The Evolution will be located under Yamato's new F1 weigher running system speeds of over 200 bags per minute! The Evolution utilizes patented, easy to use InsightŪ software and a special twin jaw sealing system that you have to see to believe.
In addition, Kliklok Woodman is displaying a complete top load line that includes a high speed, turret-style glue forming machine, the ECT-625, and the infinitely variable pitch Vari-RightŪ carton closer. Both machines provide customers with best-in-class reliability and performance.
The turret design on the ECT is unique in that it breaks down the forming of the carton into four distinct operations. In the first section, the carton blank is pulled from the magazine and placed on a forming mandrel. It is then moved into the gluing station and onward to the forming position before it is stripped off onto the take away conveyor. The ECT is excellent for use with specialty cartons and can achieve higher speeds than traditional glue-style carton forming machines.
The Vari-Right carton closer saves customers time and money by providing them with high carton output in a very small footprint. Customers also perform carton size changes in well under five minutes.
Also on display is the Polaris II bagmaker, a direct descendant of the PolarisŪ bagmaker which is the world's best selling and most trusted bagmaker over the last 20 years. Upgraded to include full servo operation and the Insight touch screen interface software, the Polaris II is a great addition to the complete bagmaker range that Kliklok Woodman offers.
An informational CD that includes photos and brochures for the Evolution, ECT-625, Vari-RightŪ and Polaris II has been included with this press release for your reference. For additional information or a sample copy, contact Henk Hoogendoorn or Michelle Tatum using the contact information below.
